Inner Peace Day at Woodcroft

Inner Peace Day began an international event celebrated on 21st March as the World Day for Inner Peace. The idea behind it was to establish a day in schools dedicated to World Peace. Where students could experience inner peace for themselves and to spread the message of peace to some of the most troubled areas around the world: refugee camps, occupied territories and places devastated by war.

A team from Inner Peace UK visited Woodcroft on Wednesday 15th March to work with classes in Years 4 and 5. They focused on developing calming strategies within the pupils and showing them how to focus their inner, positive energy.

The Inner Peace team commented on how well behaved and harmonious the Woodcroft pupils were.

“Thank you again for inviting us! We all thoroughly enjoyed our day at Woodcroft. We were all amazed by the level of care and attention that goes into the school. The kids were really well behaved, which made them a pleasure to work with.” Sahaj (Inner Peace UK)
