The Dick Bailey cup final against The Orion was played in front of a large and loud crowd. The team started strong and worked extremely hard. Billy making some incredible saves early on to keep us in the game. The breakthrough came through a great solo goal from Mehran. Helio, Kamil and Mehran were solid in defence to keep them out, and Willaim, Usman and Suleman worked well up front creating many chances. We were finally rewarded after some great play between Usman and Suleman leading to a fantastic finish past their keeper for Suleman. Late on in the match The Orion scored following a goalmouth scramble which led to some tense closing minutes. A string of incredible saves by man of the match Billy saw us through to the final whistle. Woodcroft held on for 2 -1 win and the Dick Bailey cup.
