Year 4’s Trip To Paradise Wildlife Park!

By C Tallon3rd July 2015

Report written by Tallulah Taylor (Year 4)

On Monday 22nd of June 2015, Year 4 went to Paradise Wildlife Park. We hoped that the weather would be nice and it as it turned out it was wonderful.

We saw the five of the biggest cats in the world such as the jaguar, snow leopard, lion, white lion and the white tigers! The terrifyingly intense bat house had a stench so strong it made it hard to breath. The funniest thing at the park were the hilarious meerkats. We found out that they they come from the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa. The trip was absolutely Fabulous. We enjoyed all of the day and we would all love to go back . There were parts of Paradise Wildlife Park we did not see, but what we did see was amazing, spooky and hilarious. Thank you to our teachers for organising this great experience.

By C Tallon1st July 2015

Wow! They were HOT but great fun. Well done to Ms Charalambous, Mr Raw and Mr Judd for organising our Olympic themed School Games Days. We must also say a big thank you to London Academy for sending along their excellent Sports Leaders who did a fantastic job helping with the events. Not forgetting our very own Bronze Ambassadors who were as reliable as ever.

We hope that all of the families who came along enjoyed themselves. Click on the photo below to go to a ‘mega’ slide show of our sporting week.

Report by Tung (Y6)

The people who went were Jaydan, Robbie, Faisal, Maryem and Haya from Y5, and Dan, Navead and me, Tung, from Y6. It was an exciting, but hot day. We took the underground using the Northern, Victoria and Central Lines. When we arrived we watched a giant chess match where actors were live chess pieces! We got to guide the actors in a match and Woodcroft won! Each of us were given a chess set goodie bag to finish off a great day.

Caterpillar Diary – Breaking News!

By C Tallon9th June 2015
Friday 12th July: Today was the day we said goodbye to our beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies.  Children from Reception and Nursery were joined in the Butterfly Garden by older pupils for the release.
The children were very well behaved and enjoyed sitting with butterflies on their open palms, waiting for them to fly off to explore the big wide world.
