Music Festival at Frith Manor
Our strings ensemble group joined fellow musicians from Frith Manor and Brookland schools for a festival of music. Each school performed two individual pieces followed by joint orchestra set. What a wonderful opportunity for our talented musicians to perform collaboratively with other students. Well done to the pupils and music teachers of each school.

EPOC (English Pocket Opera Company) performed ‘Opera Blocks’ to KS2, an interactive introduction that aimed to ‘unpack’ all the ingredients of an opera. Their one hour show used excerpts from over 20 different operas and included an hysterical and unscripted 15-minute opera that was improvised with suggestions from the pupils. The fact that Mr Tallon & Miss Sherring managed to get themselves killed off on stage added to the fun!
