Outstanding Results for Woodcroft

The 2024 KS2 results were published on Friday. Woodcroft achieved an excellent 79% combined pass for reading, writing and maths.

These results are significantly higher than both the Barnet and national averages. They demonstrate the high academic standards at Woodcroft.

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling

We also achieved a pass rate of 89% in the Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling test. This was also well above the average scores achieved both nationally and in the local authority.

Woodcroft Weekly Issue 542

The past week at Woodcroft has really exemplified our school motto – Together Towards Success! We remind our children that when we ALL work together, everyone benefits. The past week has been a real showcase for Woodcroft’s wonderful community and fantastic pupils. We enjoyed an outstanding instrumental concert, our most successful book fair, a wonderful Winter Fayre and another fantastic football team result!
Next week will be equally busy! Look out for information about the Y3 Ukulele Concert, Arts Award Presentations,  London Trips and Christmas Lunches. Finally, to finish the week, Year 2 will be performing a Festive Show.

Mia Jenkins from Foodbank Aid joined our Harvest Assembly

Today we celebrated our Harvest Festival with an outstanding collection of food and money to support Food Bank Aid North London.

This week’s newsletter is also packed with lots of important information. In addition to celebrating harvest we are advertising for a MTS, preparing for the annual flu vaccinations, distributing food vouchers, registering pupils for Nursery and Reception classes and reminding people about Monday’s International Day!
