Our amazing Dance Team has done it again! This time they beat schools from all across London to become the regional ‘Great Big Dance Off’ champions for 2025. Read a report from Ameera(Y6)
“The Woodcroft Dance Team went on an exciting trip to the Cadogan Hall to perform at the Great Big Dance Off competition. We were the first school to arrive and had a rehearsal in front of other schools. After a few hours, we got up on stage in our costumes and everyone tried their absolute hardest at the competition (since there were twenty schools participating.) They then told us that if we won we would go to the grand final in Oxford. Later on they announced that the Woodcroft Dance Team had WON FIRST PLACE! We went onto the stage to collect our trophy; all of us were extremely happy at the results.”
Ms Williams said, “The dance team gave a breath-taking performance and represented the school in exemplary fashion. I am extremely proud of their achievements!”
Their next event is now national ‘Dance Off’ finals taking place in Oxford in June. ‘Go Woodcroft!’ Let’s make it 3 out of 3. Thank you to ex-staff members Mrs Clark and Ms Vanner, and to all of our travelling fans, for their support on the day.
