KS2 Sports & Games Day – Report by Dennis (Y6)

KS2 Sports Day 2016 banner

On Wednesday the 6th of July, KS2 took part in the 2016 Sports Day a Burnt Oak Leisure Centre. There were many activities such as egg and spoon race, sprint timing, long distance running, tug of war, triple jump, javelin, shot put, discus and resting stops (my favourite!). I loved the day so much and so did other people.
This is what they said:…

Sofia Y6, “Participating in Sports Day made everybody active together.”

Year 3 Summer Ukulele Show

Summer Ukulele

On Monday 4th July Year 3 performed their final ukulele concert to their families. This was the third of our Summer Series Concerts.  After only 28 lessons, the pupils performed a polished and highly entertaining programme which took us through their entire ukulele journey for the school year.  The ukulele programme is part of our collaboration work with the Barnet Education Arts Trust (BEAT) and it has been a pleasure working with Mr Hughes and Ms Cingo once again. Congratulations to our Year 3 pupils and staff for their hard work.
